Joslyn Museum art events aimed at people with autism, in college – Omaha World-Herald

Joslyn Art Museum will supply particular alternatives this week, one for people with autism and their households and one other for college college students.

From four to eight p.m. Thursday, the museum will current “Beyond the Spectrum” for people with autism. The occasion will probably be held in the museum’s Art Works and could have 9 exercise stations and alternatives to create art. The museum might be open to the general public at the time, however Art Works can be open solely for the autism viewers.

Also, throughout common public hours, 10 a.m. to four p.m., on Saturday and Sunday, college students with a legitimate college ID can get free tickets to the exhibition “Marks of Genius: 100 Extraordinary Drawings from the Minneapolis Institute of Art.” The exhibit has drawings by Tiepolo, Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Hopper, Warhol and different artists from the previous 600 years.
