Preventing Autism Meltdown

Ian and Connor were fighting for ‘1st place’ on the trail.
They were tripping over each other, pushing each other
on the ground, etc. I put an end to it and Ian’s tantrum
started transitioning into a meltdown. Although breathing
exercises and compression hugs don’t always work,
it’s best to try the simple measures first and
prevent the meltdown from occurring.
